Our Mission
Ascend Field Hockey Club was built on a simple belief: that every field hockey player—from first-timers to the most competitive athletes—deserves a community that challenges, supports, and inspires them to grow on the field and beyond. We are development-first, and we mean it. Our intentional programming and consistent, dedicated coaching staff meet every player where they are and help them discover how far they can go. Whether a player is picking up a stick for the first time or chasing their highest competitive ambitions, they will find the same thing at Ascend: a community that takes their growth as seriously as they do.
At Ascend, development-first means we measure success not by tournament results or the number of goals scored, but by the growth we see in each player over time. We prioritize long-term growth over short-term outcomes, providing intentional programming designed to develop athletes from the ground up; clear and structured pathways for players who want to compete at the highest levels; and off-field programming focused on character, confidence, and leadership. This is what it means to be part of the Ascend community—to be seen, challenged, and invested in every step of the way.
